Nestled in the heart of the north pennines, Supernatural Beauty & Skincare is a brand born from nature, necessity, and one woman’s unwavering dedication to skin health.
Founded by beauty therapist and herbal enthusiast Anna Thompson Stonehouse, this handcrafted skincare line blends years of professional experience with the healing power of herbs – and a deeply personal journey.
“my career in beauty therapy began in 1997” Anna shares, “After developing allergies to mainstream skincare preservatives, I had no choice but to create products I could safely use – not just for myself, but for my clients too”.
What began as a quest for a natural insect repellent in the rural wilds of northumberland evolved into a full-fledged love affair with herbs, oils, and skin-loving ingredients.
Her first creations were simple – small batches of herbal oils and balms made from home-grown ingredients. But the feedback was powerful. “people kept asking for more. And once I saw how my own skin responded – clear, glowing and finally comfortable, and the best thing – no preservatives – I knew I was on to something” she explains.
Now, after years of fine tuning, the business has expanded from a local salon staple to a proudly independent skincare brand. With ethical sourcing, no harsh chemicals, cruelty free, and a deep respect for nature, natural beauty skincare reflects anna’s belief that beauty should be both nurturing and honest.

My face cream arrived really fast and top quality as always! Generously filled to the very top of the jar and smells good enough to eat! Luxuriant for skin prone to dryness – and a dab goes far.
